A celebrated Irish lawyer, James McDonald has been working as a Junior Counsel in the Bar of Ireland since 2006. Mr. McDonald had worked with the “Sunday World” and became a writer on the top comedy satire show “Nob Nation.” He studied journalism for his undergraduate degree, pursued law afterward, and became a barrister.
James McDonald is also referred to as a “miracle man” having survived an accident he had almost 20 years ago. He fully recovered from the accident, undergoing physiotherapy, aqua therapy, and all the efforts he needed to get back on track. Before this fateful event, he was Wexford’s Young Hurler of the Year for 2000, a member of the Wexford senior county panel, and a student-scholar of the hurling team in Dublin City University.
Mr. McDonald founded his own consultancy business, Model Communication, providing services for clients with the likes of key Fianna Fáil figures such as former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern. His practice as a barrister places emphasis on courtroom advocacy and litigation, and common law jurisdiction.
